QU'EST CE QU'UNE EMP? L'EMP est le tremplin idéal pour rentrer dans un ministère inter-culturel fructueux parmi les peuples non atteints. Le but de l'école est de vous donner les compétences nécessaires au ministère en tant que membre d'une équipe centrée sur l'implantation d'églises parmi les moins atteints: incluant culture et apprentissage d'une langue, implantation d'églises, stratégies pour la mission, relation d'équipe, soulever et maintenir un réseau de soutien. Les compétences acquises durant ces 3 mois de classes seront développées au cours d'une mission ultérieure sur le terrain - normalement 2 ans. L'EMP se concentre sur les groupes non atteints parmi les musulmans, hindous, chinois, bouddhistes ou tribaux. L'Ecole de Formation de Disciple (EFD) de JEM est prérequise.
POURQUOI CETTE ÉCOLE EST-ELLE SPÉCIALE? Elle se concentre sur la préparation d'ouvriers pour le long terme en Afrique du Nord et des communautés musulmanes de villes d'Europe. Vous serez formés à l'utilisation des dernières méthodes utiles pour servir et se rapprocher des Musulmans. Nous prions pour que les étudiants s'associent durant l'école afin d'être envoyés par la suite ensemble sur le terrain avec un coaching continu durant la première mission sur le terrain.

STARTING MONTH:... July...WHAT IS HARVEST MULITIPLICATION (previously known as STRATEGY COORDINATOR TRAINING)? .... Training in development and implementation of a comprehensive, multi-faceted strategy (end vision) in order to see multiple church planting movements (CPMs) initiated and nurtured in an entire unreached people group, 4K zone, or city. The trainee will learn how to answer the question: “what will it take for all of this people/4K zone/city to have access to the gospel and have multiple CPMs occurring?” He/she focuses on cooperating with God and “doing what it takes” to achieve the end vision, mobilizing, training and implementing with his own organization and multiple partner organisations/churches.

WHAT IS ONE STORY? OneStory's aim is to equip you with oral strategies to take the Word of God to illiterate, unreached people groups around the world. You will learn how to communicate a complete gospel message through telling Bible stories chronologically. You will learn how to tell these stories contexually and in the community's native tongue so they have relevance to the listening community. OneStory also helps you to equip indigenous believers to pass on these stories so a church planting movement can be facilitated.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THIS SCHOOL? This two week introductory course is for those who are not yet committed to a project but considering one. Completing this introductory course alone does not qualify people to do One Story projects.
COST: A registration fee of $100, plus room and board.

WHAT IS AN IECS? This is the first in a sequence of courses in linguistics and the study of cultures. The student is prepared for the first stages of language learning and cultural integration. Subjects include basic linguistics, phonetics, introductory cultural studies and ethnographic methods, government policies towards indigenous peoples, cross cultual communication and language learning.IECS prepares people to live positively in this world, in the multicultural cities of the west, as well as the traditional or ‘closed’ cultures and nations. In a multicultural classroom students will explore a biblical perspective of culture and cultural identity. Attention will be given to diversity of communication style, values and worldview, including the songs, the stories, the history and the dreams of each culture. Awareness of one’s own culture and the culture of others are major goals of this course. Particular attention will be given to intercultural relationships and the building of bridges of reconciliation to people and cultures we have offended.
